I love this little graphic novel by original series Star Trek actor George Takei, who was interned as a child during World War II. Very moving and also more proof at how shitty our government has been to people of color during its history.
Okay, so this news made my day. While I loved both Discovery and Picard, and have to say I did miss the episodic nature of the old series and its optimism. With so much bad news in the world, I really didn’t need Picard to shake my faith in humanity. And I am thrilled that Anson Mount will be returning as Pike. Now if only they could get Jason Isaacs to come back to Discovery.
Yes, I know I am a big dork, but I can’t help it. I have been so looking forward to this, and even got myself a Chateau Picard T-Shirt from the official fan shop to wear while watching the first episode.
